Summer Camps 2024 – Enroll Now

Children’s Mini Camps – $45 per child, per session

For Rising Kindergarteners & First Graders

Rising kindergarten and 1st graders will explore themes through creative movement in a variety of styles and genres. Students will begin to learn dance terminology, positions of the feet and arms, musical counts, and basic patterns and choreography. This class will help children appreciate the joy of movement, gain music awareness and rhythm skills, explore dance as a form of personal expression, and nurture artistry with challenging creative dance experiences.  These mini camps are a lot of fun!!  Camps meet for one week, on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:00-10:45am. Campers will have a blast coming to one, or BOTH mini-camps!  These camps are lead by the amazing Miss Maggie.

Lion King Mini Camp – July 15th, 17th & 19th – 10:00-10:45am

Under the Sea Mini Camp – July 22nd, 24th, & 26th – 10:00-10:45am

Summer Dance Camps – $175 per child, per session

For Rising Second through Fourth Graders

Calling all rising 2nd through 4th graders!  You will love our summer camps! Within this week-long camp, campers will learn all about a classic story ballet AND how to move and dance within the styles of ballet and musical theatre….no dance experience required!  Students will craft each day, and they will receive a Massari-Wood T-shirt that they will color and take home at the end of each week. They will also have a free performance opportunity at the end of each week! Come to one, or both summer camps!  These camps are lead by the wonderful Miss Amanda.

Explore the Ballet “Copellia” – June 10th – 14th – 2:00-5:00pm
Learn all about Dr. Copelius & his magic toyshop full of life size dolls!

Explore the Ballet “Sleeping Beauty” – July 15th – 19th – 2:00-5:00pm
Did you know that the Ballet Sleeping Beauty includes dancing bluebirds & appearances by Little Red Riding Hood and the big Bad Wolf? You’ll learn all this and more at this summer dance camp!

Campers should dress comfortably, and dancewear is optional. Ballet shoes or socks are preferred.

Our summer camps are a great opportunity to make new friends and, for returning Massari-Wood students, strengthen friendships that began forming during previous dance years. Bring your child and a friend to this pre-dinner activity to release all that summer energy (and give yourself a 3-hour break!).  PS: Talk to Miss Amanda if you have siblings that are interested, but outside the age range.  ❤
