Primary Division Dance Classes(Primary I, Primary II, Primary III)

1 class per week

This is a combination class that includes basic beginning level ballet and tap technique. It is very age specific.  Emphasis is placed on building confidence, strength, and poise. It supports the development and improvement of coordination,  focusing and listening skills.  It also provides a foundation for the continued study of ballet. Classes are structured in a  progressive curriculum that builds from year to year. We include tap in this level…well…because it is fun…but also it provides a great way to re enforce musicality.  Learning to cooperate and work in a classroom environment is not only a good way to channel untapped energy, it is  an important first skill for a young dancer to acquire.
