This form of dance is very popular with all age groups.
Jazz dance combines techniques of classical ballet and modern dance with the current forms of popular dance. Jazz also has its own movement vocabulary ranging from the isolation of certain body parts to the movement of the entire body with the accents of musical rhythms. Jazz dance can take on many different characteristics and styles, including Street Jazz, HIP HOP, Percussive, Broadway, Contemporary and Lyrical. Jazz classes can be patterned in any of these styles or a combination of them. Emphasis is on the importance of energy, rhythmical accuracy, and style. Each level of jazz is a continuation of the previous level and increases in difficulty.
JAZZ 1 (7-9 yrs) – Wednesday 5:30-6:30
This fun, energetic class includes basic jazz techniques, turns, leaps and up to date combinations PLUS Hip Hop
JAZZ 2 (10yrs- teens) – Tuesdays 5:30-6:30
Another High energy class that builds on the skills taught in the previous level.

A class designed to increase your ability as a dancer through conditioning workouts for strength and lengthy stretching for flexibility. The class also dives into advanced multi-style choreography, to broaden your ability to be a versatile dancer.
